Reusable Moving Boxes, Delivered Across Los Angeles

An LA move is really two moves: the packing, and then whatever the city throws at you on the day. You might be carrying bins up a Silver Lake hillside to a house the truck can’t get near, waiting on a freight-elevator window in a DTLA tower, or timing a Koreatown apartment load around a street that fills by noon. Cardboard makes all of that worse — it caves, it runs short, and you’re flattening boxes at midnight.

Stack drops reusable plastic bins at your door and comes back for them when you’re unpacked. We deliver; we’re not a store you drive to. The crates, dollies, and labels come to you anywhere across LA — Los Feliz, Highland Park, Echo Park, Venice, WeHo — and we haul them off after. No Home Depot run, no stack of empties to break down.

It works across the sprawl, too. Half of LA’s moves cross a city line or a canyon: over the hill to Sherman Oaks, out to Pasadena or Glendale, down to Long Beach or Santa Monica. The bins ride the 405, the 101, the 10, or the 110 the same either way. You pack, you move, we collect. That’s the whole thing.

Nearby areas we serve: reusable boxes down in Long Beach, plus Pasadena, Glendale, Santa Monica, and Burbank.

5 star reviews in Los Angeles

Couldn’t be happier with my moving choice Los Angeles

It was our first time using the container system for our move and we are very pleased with the entire process.  The containers help make moving much less messy and tedious, no flimsy cardboard boxes and no worrying about stacking heavier boxes on top of lighter ones. We loved everything about the company and the containers! I definitely recommend their services to everyone and we will be using them for our next move and any others after that!

This decision made my move so much easier

Using the Stack bins completely changes moving. It’s so much easier, less hassle and material. These don’t fall apart and they don’t get destroyed if it’s raining when you move. The clean up is so much easier cause there is none. I don’t know why every realtor isn’t referring these out to their clients. I wish I had these when I was doing various events at convention centers. Getting them into hotel rooms and then to the convention center would have made so many things in life so much better.

This was a game-changer for my moving day

It was so easy-prompt delivery and pickup. Moving with durable crates made moving so much easier for all involved. Many words of praise from my family, friends, and the professional movers who helped us move. Not dealing with putting the cardboard boxes together, the tape, then flattening and removing the boxes was priceless! I have had many requests for how I found you and for your name.

Moving Box Rentals Anywhere in Los Angeles!

A Los Angeles move rarely stays on one block, so we deliver reusable bins across Los Angeles County, including Pasadena, Glendale, and Burbank and collect them when you are done. We drop them at your door instead of selling them from a counter, so there is no supply run. The bins take the summer heat and seal against the winter wet. Pack at your own pace, and the empties go back free.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you deliver to a downtown high-rise or a large condo building in Los Angeles?

Plenty of moves here happen in a tower or a managed condo building. Most of them want a certificate of insurance on file and a booked freight elevator or loading dock before move day. We deliver the bins, so reserve your elevator window with building management and we drop off inside it. Buildings can be strict, so sort the paperwork about a week ahead.

Do the bins hold up in Los Angeles weather?

The weather runs warm and dry most of the year, with the rain packed into a short winter season and hot, dry Santa Ana spells in between. A cardboard box left in the sun gets brittle; a damp one softens. The plastic bins take the heat and seal against the winter wet without losing shape.

How far around Los Angeles do you deliver?

Delivery and pickup are included across Los Angeles County, including Pasadena, Glendale, and Burbank. If your address sits well past that, we will quote the extra mileage up front, before you book, never after.

Do I need to sort parking for the delivery truck in Los Angeles?

On tight blocks a clear spot near the door speeds up the drop. Many California cities issue a temporary no-parking permit to hold curb space for a moving truck. We do not pull those for you, so arrange a spot or the permit before your window. A loading zone or a held space by the entrance is ideal.

How many bins do I need for an apartment versus a house in Los Angeles?

Plenty of moves here are apartments and condos, and a studio or one-bedroom usually fits our Studio or 1-Bedroom bundle. A full house needs more, so step up to the larger set. Between two sizes? Size up. Returning a few empties beats running short mid-move.

Do I need a parking permit or posted space for a moving truck in Los Angeles?

It depends on your street. Many LA blocks fill early, and some areas require a temporary “no parking” posting from LADOT for a truck. Stack doesn’t pull permits for you, so check your street rules ahead of time and keep a clear spot near the entrance so drop-off and pickup stay quick.

Can you deliver bins to a hillside home with a narrow street in Silver Lake or the Hollywood Hills?

Yes. Hillside and canyon streets are tight, and a big truck often can’t get close, but our delivery vehicle handles them and we can carry bins to the door. Tell us in your notes if the street is one-lane, has no turnaround, or needs us to park below and walk up so the driver plans for it.

Does my DTLA high-rise need a certificate of insurance for a move?

Many Downtown and mid-Wilshire towers ask movers for a certificate of insurance and a reserved freight-elevator window before move day. Stack is a drop-off service, so you book the building’s elevator slot with management, and we deliver the bins to your dock or door inside that window. Ask your building early.

How many bins do I need for an LA apartment versus a house?

A Koreatown studio or one-bedroom usually runs a Studio or 1-Bedroom bundle; a three or four-bedroom house in Highland Park or over in Sherman Oaks needs more. If you’re between sizes, size up — sending back a few unused bins beats running short mid-move. Our bundle page lists the bin count for each size.

How far across the LA metro do you deliver?

Delivery and pickup are included within our standard LA service area, which covers the city and much of the surrounding metro — the Valley, the Westside, and nearby cities. If your address sits well outside that zone, we’ll quote the added time and mileage up front before you book, so there’s no surprise charge later.

What if my building is a walk-up with stairs and no elevator?

Plenty of older LA buildings — Echo Park, parts of WeHo, Venice — are walk-ups. If our team carries bins up or down stairs there’s a per-flight charge; handling the stairs yourself keeps it off the bill, so just note that at checkout. Either way, tell us the floor and setup so the driver comes ready.

Can Stack deliver to a gated community or HOA building in Los Angeles?

We deliver to gated and HOA properties across the area. If your gate needs a code, a callbox name, or a visitor pass, add it to your delivery notes so the driver isn’t stuck at the entrance during your window. Same for buildings with a loading dock or a specific service entrance — tell us where to go.
