Frequently Asked Questions
Stack charges a delivery and pickup fee based on your distance if you’re within a certain radius of our live markets (each city is slightly different)! If delivery and/or pick-up is outside of our main operating zone, just let us know and we will provide the cost of gas & time.
Yes, in most cases someone over the age of 18 needs to be present to sign for and accept the delivery. If for some reason you will not be present, let us know in advance and we may be able to work out a special delivery if there is a safe space to leave the boxes and dollies.
Each standard size bin is equivalent to a large cardboard box and measures 27” by 17” at the top, 24.5” by 14.5” at the bottom, and 13” tall. In our experience, this is the perfect size box for any move!
No problem! Simply let our team know before the pick-up date that you need to extend the rental window, and by how long, and we’ll make it happen. You will simply be charged extra for every week that you keep the boxes beyond what you’ve already paid for.
You can cancel your order anytime up to 48 hours before the pre-scheduled delivery date for free. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours notice, there is a $50 convenience fee. If you have already received the boxes and need to cancel your order post-delivery, that is fine too, we simply charge a $99 re-stocking fee.
We do not! Stack is a door to door delivery service. That means we drop off your items at the nearest accessible point outside your home or apartment—typically your driveway, garage, or the door to your unit. We don’t carry items inside your home or apartment.
We get it—stairs happen. For any delivery that involves going up or down stairs, we reserve the right to charge a $10 fee per flight that we help with. If you choose to carry the boxes up or down the stairs on your own, we will not charge you. Please indicate if you need assistance during the checkout process.
